Ingleside Communities in Mt. Horeb, WI is looking for a full-time maintenance technician to join our team.

Maintenance Assistant

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand or walk in an 8-hour day.
• Must be physically able to waist lift, push and/or pull maximum of 80# and overhead lift a maximum of 50#, with frequent waist lifting and overhead lifting, pushing and/or pulling of objects up to 25#.
• Must be able to frequently bend, squat or climb during an 8-hour day.
• Must have valid driver's license with clear driving record.

Working Conditions

• May be exposed to working with chemicals.
• May be subject to differing temperatures.
• May be involved unexpectedly, or on short notice, to tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids or mucous membranes.

Responsibilities

• To assist in maintaining the facility, internally and externally, according to local, state and federal regulations.
• The assist in maintaining the grounds on the facility.
• To assist with snow removal in the winter and the proper maintenance of all walkways and entrances at all times.
• To move residents' furniture, clothing, etc. to assigned rooms.
• To assist Maintenance Supervisor in any other duties as needed.
• Transport residents to and from appointments in the Ingleside van.
• Any and all other duties assigned by Administrator in an effort to maintain a quality maintenance department.
