IT Support Technician

Genesis
10 is currently seeking an IT Plant Support Technician for a contract position with a Major Food Manufacturing Company located in Monett, MO. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on skill level.

This role provides tactical IT support for local and remote sites in a mixed office and manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, including PC and device replacement, network troubleshooting, and resolving end-user issues with hardware, software, and other IT systems in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support and follow-up for end users with computer hardware, phone, and other identified IT support items or process issues
• Diagnose, repair, install, perform, or facilitate upgrades on IT supported software and hardware
• Maintain communications with end users during the resolution process, while ensuring ownership of the issue
• Utilize the Service Management tool to enter, update, and resolve issues and requests, meeting established service level agreements
• Deploy new processes, hardware, or software to support Global IT projects
• Execute lifecycle replacements as needed
• Provide 24x7-support for plant/region as needed
• Document troubleshooting and repair processes

Requirements:

• Experience providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 boots-on-the-ground support
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems and ticketing systems
• Hands-on experience with PC replacement, including iPhones, laptops, and other end-user devices
• Experience with network troubleshooting, including switch configurations and tracking down IP addresses
• Ability to support a variety of systems including end user devices, conference room systems, servers, printers, and networking equipment
• Must be a collaborative team player and contributor
