Job Overview

MACHINE LEARNING PLATFORM ENGINEER sought in Mount Pleasant, WI.

• Design, implement, and maintain machine learning platforms for image annotation and processing, applying advanced image processing techniques to prepare and optimize data for production use.
• Configure, test, and manage Linux-based virtual machines within a High-Performance Computing (HPC) data center to support large-scale data processing and machine learning workloads.
• Maintain and enhance application software to support production data workflows and ensure seamless machine learning model execution.
• Design, develop, and deploy containerized and serverless applications (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) to automate deployments and ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of production systems.
• Develop and maintain robust RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between internal production systems and external platforms, ensuring effective version control, functional testing, and integration with manufacturing pipelines.
• Design and implement full-stack solutions that integrate data processing, business logic, and intuitive user interfaces for production and internal tools.
• Collaborate with system architects and cross-functional teams to design secure, reliable, and scalable platform architectures, while continuously improving overall system performance and resilience.
• Develop and deploy real-time production data monitoring dashboards to track downtime, perform root cause analysis, and visualize key manufacturing metrics and trends.
• Optimize system performance by improving algorithmic time and space complexity, enhancing scalability and efficiency across factory operations.

• Education Required:
  
  Master’s degree in Computer Science. Experience
  
  Required:
  
  6 months experience on job offered. In lieu of the required experience, applicants with any suitable combination of education, training or experience are acceptable, including 3 hrs. coursework or comparable coursework in the areas of Introduction to Machine Learning, Analysis of Algorithms and Scientific Computing, inclusive in the degree requirement as qualifying.
