Data Analyst​/BI Developer - La Crosse, WI

Overview

Chileda's mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals with cognitive and behavioral challenges. Chileda's goal is to help students increase their appropriate social behaviors and develop independent living skills, through an enriched learning environment and individualized behavior programming. Chileda's population includes children and young adults with special needs including Autism, Attachment Challenges, related developmental delays, and intensive behavioral needs.

The Data Analyst/BI Developer is responsible for collecting, cleaning, and interpreting data to help Chileda make informed data driven decisions through building forms, dashboards, models, visualizations, and reports. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple levels of the organization. They will manage multiple projects that require creative problem-solving for our unique needs.

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Programming, Computer Science or an adjacent area with a focus on BI, SQL, and data engineering/modeling
• 1-3 Years Experience in a similar role, 4+ years preferred.
• Experience in a healthcare related organization is preferred.
• Detail-oriented self-starter with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

The standard hours for this role would be working part-time / full-time between the hours of 7:30 am – 4:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Director of Technology

• Collaborate with department leadership to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
• Gather detailed technical requirements to design and develop data structures supporting BI solutions from start to finish.
• Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Analyze complex datasets using statistical methods and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power
  
  BI, Yellowfin
  
  BI).
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools such as Yellowfin
  
  BI or Power BI.
• Translate data findings into clear, actionable insights for leadership across departments.
• Monitor and maintain data quality, integrity, and compliance with organizational policies.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and automation in workflows.
• Maintain and improve existing data collection tools including flows and forms.
• Assist with other job tasks as directed by the Supervisor

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the Job Duties of this position. The person in this position needs to occasionally walk about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and conference rooms. There is constant use of hand/fingers to operate a computer, and frequent use to operate phones, and other office equipment.

Must be able to talk and hear to communicate with and exchange information with co-workers.

Work is generally performed within an office environment at a desk with a computer. Interaction with students and residents of Chileda will occur, especially in the common areas.
