Junior AI Consultant - start in September 2026

Will you graduate in 2026 and do you want to build real-life AI solutions? At Datashift you join a hands‑on team that uses data, machine learning and generative AI to solve concrete business problems.

Your responsibilities

• Translate business questions into concrete AI use cases together with consultants and clients;
• Explore, clean and prepare data for modelling (Python, SQL, notebooks);
• Build and evaluate AI models (from classic ML to LLMs and computer vision);
• Work with Data Engineers and BI specialists to integrate models into data products, dashboards or APIs;
• Help monitor and improve model quality, robustness and fairness in production (MLOps, A/B tests, retraining);
• Contribute to demos, PoCs and internal knowledge sharing on AI (showcases, tech talks, code snippets).

Qualifications

• Master in Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics or equivalent;
• Analytical, pragmatic and eager to learn from experimentation and feedback;
• Solid Python skills and understanding of basic ML concepts (e.g., regression, classification, neural networks);
• Familiar with SQL and basic data modelling; exposure to No
  
  SQL or data warehouses is a plus;
• Curious about cloud and modern AI tooling (e.g. Azure, scikit-learn, PyTorch, Hugging Face, LLM / RAG frameworks);
• Basic software engineering habits:
  Git, clean code, simple tests and documentation;
  Docker is a plus;
• Team player with a client‑facing mindset, who can explain technical topics in clear, non‑jargon language;
• Fluent in Dutch and/or English.
