• Ensure the stable operation of the in‑house computer software systems and network connections, including planning, development, installation, configuration, maintenance, support and optimization of all network software and communication links.
• Organize and direct the configuration and operation of information management systems, analyze and resolve end‑user software program and connectivity issues.
• Conduct capacity and performance analysis and provide system configuration change and upgrade recommendations.
• Increase system administrator efficiency and accuracy through the use of automated tools and scripts, develop system administrator procedures, and conduct system administrator training and skills assessment.
• Provide end‑user training.
• Provide recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision.
• Provide local and remote maintenance support to various operational systems deployed at more than one location, including general maintenance, upgrades and new installs of servers and applications.
• Direct the work of other system administrators to provide day‑to‑day system administration, including system and resource optimization, and user assistance.
• Apply advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing applications and ensuring fault tolerance.
• Perform vulnerability management.

• Secret – IT‑I (Tier 5/SSBI) Critical Sensitive Clearance.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Baseline Certification.

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a technical discipline (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering).

• Minimum of 10 years of specialized experience in information processing, including at least 4 years of hands‑on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting various software systems.
• Progressive experience across multiple specialized information processing disciplines involving a range of hardware and software solutions.

• Three (3) years hands‑on experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) IT hosting solutions.
