IT Project Manager, Robotics
Location: Krakow
ABB Robotics is seeking a skilled and motivated IS Project Manager to lead global Information Systems projects that support our fast‑evolving robotics division. This role offers the opportunity to manage high‑impact initiatives across a diverse, multicultural environment, supporting over 6000 end users and a business generating more than 3 billion USD in annual revenue.
Reporting To: IS Manager
Preferred locations:
Poland and Sweden.
- Define project scope, budget, resources, schedule, and risk management plans in collaboration with stakeholders
- Lead and motivate global project teams, including internal and third‑party contributors
- Ensure projects follow ABB’s internal directives and execution methodology
- Manage stakeholder relationships and serve as the primary contact and escalation point
- Analyze and manage financial data, including budgets and reporting to the Steering Committee
- Oversee vendor‑delivered solutions, monitor progress against stage‑gates, and ensure efficient resource utilization
- Stay informed of changes in global IS and business strategy, adapting project plans accordingly
- Manage multiple projects with medium to high complexity and business risk, often running in parallel with significant interdependencies
- Minimum 8 years of hands‑on IS project management experience in global environments
- PMP, Prince2, Agile, ITIL, or Scrum Master certification
- Strong communication, documentation, and facilitation skills
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Motivated self‑starter with a passion for best practices and creative problem‑solving
