Location: Town of Texas

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test strategies, scenarios, and steps for both automated and manual testing.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, story refinement sessions, and sprint planning.
  • Manage QA activities throughout the Agile development lifecycle.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and recommend best practices for test automation and framework selection.
  • Drive automation efficiency and effectiveness using modern tools and techniques.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage across all test and production environments.
  • Collaborate with development teams to define valid test approaches and scenarios.
  • Conduct performance testing (load, stress, scalability, spike, volume, endurance/soak).
  • Monitor application logs using tools such as Datadog and Splunk.
  • Develop and maintain virtual services or mock APIs.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and integration using tools like Jenkins and Artifactory.
  • Analyze and communicate test results using various reporting tools.
  • Foster a quality-first mindset and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in IT application development and test automation.
  • Strong object-oriented design and coding skills.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Full-stack testing (Angular, Java, SOAP, REST)
    • Playwright, Selenium, Selenium Grid
    • TestNG and BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Serenity, Cypress)
    • Web service testing tools (e.g., Bruno, Karate, Postman, Rest-assured, Insomnia)
    • SQL and database validation
    • Testing applications in both on-premise and cloud environments (e.g., AWS)
    • Developing and maintaining virtual services or mock APIs
    • Monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Splunk)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
