Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test strategies, scenarios, and steps for both automated and manual testing.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, story refinement sessions, and sprint planning.
- Manage QA activities throughout the Agile development lifecycle.
- Provide subject matter expertise and recommend best practices for test automation and framework selection.
- Drive automation efficiency and effectiveness using modern tools and techniques.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage across all test and production environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to define valid test approaches and scenarios.
- Conduct performance testing (load, stress, scalability, spike, volume, endurance/soak).
- Monitor application logs using tools such as Datadog and Splunk.
- Develop and maintain virtual services or mock APIs.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and integration using tools like Jenkins and Artifactory.
- Analyze and communicate test results using various reporting tools.
- Foster a quality-first mindset and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in IT application development and test automation.
- Strong object-oriented design and coding skills.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Full-stack testing (Angular, Java, SOAP, REST)
- Playwright, Selenium, Selenium Grid
- TestNG and BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Serenity, Cypress)
- Web service testing tools (e.g., Bruno, Karate, Postman, Rest-assured, Insomnia)
- SQL and database validation
- Testing applications in both on-premise and cloud environments (e.g., AWS)
- Developing and maintaining virtual services or mock APIs
- Monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Splunk)
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
