What you’ll do:
  • Guide guests on a variety of different tours through Yellowstone National Park.
  • Ensures the safety of guests and team members during all tours.
  • Keep current and up-to-date with any YNP guidelines and regulations, including but not limited to park passes, trip reports, speed limits and safe distance from wildlife.
  • Operate and maintain 4x4 vehicles year-round in all types of weather and terrain.
  • Maintain clean and organized working environment regarding transportation to and from activity locations.
  • Assist coworkers in Adventures Department with day-to-day tasks and goals.
  • On-going communication with all departments and ensures all staff members are informed of updates, changes and/or problematic situations.
  • Responds to internal and external inquiries and complaints and maintains favorable guest and employee relations.
  • Additional duties may be assigned.
The Nitty Gritty
  • Excellent leadership and guest service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable and proficient in all aspects of YNP experience including wildlife, geology, history and ecology.
  • Have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Hospitality experience a plus.
  • Obtain or ability to obtain a CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Must have valid drivers license.
