Job Description

The Physical Therapist Assistant provides direct patient care services under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist according to the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Standards of Practice.

Qualifications Education

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

  • Graduate from American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved program as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
Experience
  • Preferred/Optional:
    Clinical experience in an acute inpatient physical therapy setting.
Certifications / Licenses
  • Physical Therapy Assistant license awarded by the state of Wisconsin. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
