Clark County Rehab & Living Center is a long-term care facility with specialty in Alzheimer’s, dementia, rehabilitation, behavioral and custodial care. Previous experience in long-term care desired, but we will provide training to motivated applicants. Drug screening, caregiver background check, and current WI license required for all selected candidates.
Responsibilities and DutiesThe Resident Assistant is primarily responsible to implement and carry through formal and informal program plans for each intellectually disabled individual through social interaction, formal training, programs, role modeling and environment.
Provide care and treatment to those unable to care for self and participate in appropriate activities relating to the care and development of the resident.
- Participates in the development of plans designed to meet social, leisure, sensory, money and mealtime programs.
- Conducts group and individual habilitation/rehabilitation activities per State and Federal regulations.
- Organize and implement community outings; which may include evening activities.
- Implement active treatment, speech and activity therapy, and nursing care per individualized program plan.
- Implement daily living programs.
- Promote, educate, train and/or provide good oral hygiene.
- Assist with ambulation and/or transfer correctly and as required.
- Provide or supervise resident in all hygiene self-cares such as grooming, bathing, toileting, and transferring.
- Record food and fluid intake when required.
- Provides annual overview of resident’s strengths and improvements in programs.
- Record behaviors, activities, activity of daily living, and restorative programs.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, mechanical lifts and have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, managers residents and family.
- Individuals must have a valid CNA certification prior to hire.
- Required 1 year experience working with individuals with physical, emotional, and/or special disabilities is required.

- Starting at $22.05 per Hour
- Full-time
AM Shift: 11:00am - 7:00pm
* * Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required.
