Clinic Registration Specialist - Family Practice Clinics

Location: Upland Hills Health - Family Practice Clinics

Role & Department: Clinic Registration Specialist in our Family Practice Clinics primarily at the Spring Green Family Practice clinics and other clinics as needed.

Hours & Shift: Full-time (1.0 FTE) day shift position, Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Will perform registration/scheduling, receptionist, secretarial/clerical tasks such as receive patients
• Complete patient records and compile statistics
• Answer the telephone, make appointments, follow-up with patients
• Prepare daily schedule, type letters, forms and reports and perform ongoing monitoring for performance improvement programs
• Facilitate accurate and timely scheduling, including coordination of ancillary tests
• Perform tasks to maintain the clinic in a clean, orderly and safe manner
• Other duties as assigned including taking the phone for other registration personnel when necessary and assisting with other physicians or staff who use the clinic location
• May need to travel on occasion to other UHH clinic sites if staffing requires it.

• Candidates should have prior experience working in a clinic setting in a registration/scheduling type of position
• Past educational training as a medical assistant, medical secretary or medical coding would be very beneficial
• Excellent customer service skills are essential for this position
• Candidates must be extremely organized and understand the functioning and administrative workflow of a clinic operation
• Past work experience with a computer-based scheduling and registration system is beneficial
• EPIC EMR experience would be very beneficial
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple services and tasks simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communications are required
• Previous experience with the Microsoft Office Suite software programs is beneficial
