As a Personal Banker, you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. From opening retail accounts to guiding customers toward the right services, you'll help meet their financial needs while building strong community relationships. No two days are the same, and your work will have an immediate and meaningful impact.

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers with a smile.
  • Assist new and existing customers in opening deposit accounts and related services.
  • Have a good understanding of rules and regulations surrounding deposit accounts such as Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA), health savings accounts, etc.
  • Assist customers with IRA issues including opening accounts, redeeming IRA certificates, IRA transfers/rollovers, and answering questions.
  • Maintain a complete understanding of Debit Card processes and Credit Card services.
  • Act as ambassador for the bank in the community, promoting the bank's products and services, as well as representing the bank at various functions and activities.
  • Volunteer on civic and community projects.
  • Spot opportunities to connect customers with services that support their goals.
  • Collaborate with team members and jump in where needed to keep things running smoothly.
  • Participate in bank campaigns and ongoing training.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a strong focus on meeting customer needs.
  • A positive attitude, adaptability, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Well-developed organizational skills, including prioritizing work, maintaining neat work areas, and strong attention to detail.
  • Comfort with technology and the ability to learn new systems; experience with Microsoft products is helpful.
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to compose routine business correspondence with attention to grammar, spelling, proofreading, and legibility.
  • Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel to other branch locations when needed.
