Accounting Manager

You will be a trusted leader, focused on keeping the accounting operations running smoothly while the executive team focuses on strategic analysis.

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely transaction processing and efficient work activities.
• Lead key financial processes including Month End Close, bank reconciliations, managing the chart of accounts, and ensuring timely debt payments.
• Supervise and manage Accounting Personnel, coordinating their work, recruiting, training, providing timely feedback, and conducting personnel reviews.
• Maintain control and compliance by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing accounting policies and procedures, ensuring a documented system of internal controls.
• Support Budgeting and Reporting by collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data, calculating variances, and preparing necessary reports for management.

• Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience) is required.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in a major company or division.

• Required experience managing processes and overseeing staff in an accounting function.
• Strong knowledge of Audit, Corporate Finance, Accounting, and Tracking Budget Expenses.
• Experience with Developing Budgets and Analyzing Information.
• Working knowledge of maintaining a system of internal controls and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
