I am partnering with an established manufacturing company to help them identify a Finance Manager to join their team. The Finance Manager will drive financial excellence, shape strategic decision-making, and lead a talented team within a dynamic, growth-focused organization.
In this role, you’ll oversee complex accounting functions, ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting, and deliver insights that directly influence company performance and long‑term success. Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll guide the month‑end and year‑end close processes, lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives, and support audits and compliance efforts.
Responsibilities- Lead and develop a finance team to deliver accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and operational excellence.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, dashboards, and performance reports for senior leadership and board review.
- Support budget planning, forecasting, and variance analysis, providing actionable insights to guide strategic decision‑making.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver financial insights, business analysis, and ad‑hoc reporting that drive operational improvements.
- Oversee compliance and audit activities, ensuring readiness and accuracy across all financial documentation.
- Leverage ERP systems and analytical tools to optimize financial processes and reporting accuracy.
- Continuously assess and enhance financial systems, processes, and controls for efficiency and scalability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (CPA or MBA a plus).
- 4+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, ideally within manufacturing or a complex operational environment.
- Proven success leading, coaching, or mentoring team members.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to turn financial data into strategic recommendations.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills — comfortable interacting with all levels of the business.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight reporting deadlines.
