Job Overview
MANUFACTURING ENGINEER – Design, implement, and optimize modular assembly processes, support production line setup, conduct root‑cause analysis, and lead Design of Experiments (DOE). Collaborate with vendors to develop automation equipment and design custom fixtures using Solid Works.
Responsibilities- Assist production line setup and optimization, ensuring adherence to tooling, machine, and facility schedules.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with test, repair, quality, and production teams to execute DOE.
- Communicate with vendors to design and develop automation equipment for critical parts assembly.
- Design custom fixtures using CAD software (e.g., Solid Works) and integrate them into the production line.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
- 12 months experience in manufacturing engineering or a suitable combination of education, training, or experience, including 3 hours of coursework or comparable coursework in Automated Manufacturing System, Stress Analysis, and Maintenance & Reliability.
