Application Engineer Systems
As Application Engineer Systems you are responsible for writing project documentation and programming application software based on client specifications. After integration testing of the software including metering control panel and analyser shelter the engineer will assist in performing the Factory Acceptance Test & Site Acceptance Test with the client.
After project delivery, the engineer provides remote support for the commissioning engineers.
The most successful candidate:- Basic knowledge of software programming and ability to program in multiple PLC languages, and scripting languages (f.e. VBA).
- The necessary skills to design, test and provide support for HMI software and PLC programming.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical drawings and control narratives.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Adequate verbal, written and social skills to process the technical information and maintain a proper level of communication with clients, suppliers and colleagues in different cultures (Dutch and English language).
- A genuine willingness to learn and travel internationally on occasional basis (after being fully trained in the application and project requirements).
- Strong technical and analytical proficiency with the ability to multi-task effectively and thrive in a team environment.
- A degree in Master or Bachelor of Industrial Sciences or equivalent through experience.
