Ideal candidates will also be well versed in strategies that promote metacognitive engagement, differentiated instruction, and inclusive learning. Candidates should be organized, detail‑oriented, and demonstrate expertise in developing and implementing individualized plans that meet the needs of each student.

• Provide high‑quality, developmentally appropriate instruction that supports students’ academic, social‑emotional, behavioral, and functional growth in alignment with IEP goals and school‑wide standards.
• Differentiate instruction using specialized strategies such as multisensory learning, explicit modeling, scaffolded practice, repetition, and targeted interventions to meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Adapt and modify grade‑level curriculum, instructional materials, and assessments to ensure access and meaningful participation for students with disabilities in inclusive and small‑group settings.
• Use student learning data, progress monitoring tools, and formative/summative assessments to guide instructional decisions, track progress toward IEP goals, and adjust supports as needed.
