Office Professional; Construction

About the Role

Mr. Handyman of Racine County is seeking an experienced Office Professional with residential or commercial construction knowledge
. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable talking with customers about projects, understanding scopes of work, and providing rough estimates/bids over the phone
.

This position supports our Service Professionals, manages the schedule, and delivers an excellent customer experience every day.

• Handle incoming calls, online leads, and customer inquiries
• Schedule and coordinate jobs for Service Professionals
• Use construction knowledge to understand job requirements
• Provide rough pricing, estimates, or bids over the phone
• Set clear expectations for customers regarding timelines and scope
• Maintain organized records in our scheduling and job management system
• Deliver professional, friendly communication at all times

• 8+ years of office or customer-facing experience
• Residential and/or commercial construction knowledge
• Ability to estimate or bid common repair/maintenance jobs over the phone
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent phone and communication skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and web-based software
• Must live in the local area
• Background check required

• $18–$22 per hour
  , based on experience
