Strategic Sourcing Manager

Our client is looking for a Manager, Strategic Sourcing to build and manage international supply partnerships that emphasize craftsmanship, luxury materials, and high‑end finishes. In this role, you'll act as a global sourcing leader—supporting New Product Development, driving cost‑savings initiatives, and ensuring strong relationships with suppliers and artisans around the world.

• Lead sourcing for components and finished goods in the luxury product category
• Identify, evaluate, and strategically select new and existing suppliers
• Support the creation of commercial agreements, including exclusive partnerships
• Drive supplier performance improvements in cost, quality, delivery, and service
• Manage RFQs, analyze quotations, and negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times
• Lead supplier selection using total‑cost analysis and cross‑functional input
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual supply chain reports
• Oversee and expedite urgent or high‑priority purchases
• Provide guidance on procurement strategy and negotiation best practices
• Track and manage company‑owned assets at supplier locations
• Support additional supply chain and cross‑functional initiatives as needed

• 7+ years of experience in purchasing or supply chain, with strong direct‑material sourcing experience
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, industrial engineering, or related field (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus
• Exposure to diverse commodities such as components, raw materials, or specialized services
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for supplier visits
• Strong negotiation and supplier‑relationship management skills
• Excellent communicator across cultures and departments
• Creative problem‑solver with strong analytical and reasoning abilities
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and customer‑focused

• Influence global sourcing strategy for premium, design‑focused products
• Work with world‑class suppliers, artisans, and high‑end manufacturing partners
