Summary Description
The Sales Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the sales team by managing day‑to‑day activities for assigned accounts and assisting the Senior Sales Coordinator with larger, strategic accounts. This role combines administrative support with direct customer interaction for smaller accounts, ensuring the timely execution of orders, documentation, and service deliverables. Additionally, this role provides administrative and operational support to the Director of Sales, ensuring smooth execution of departmental priorities.
The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, proactive, and capable of balancing independent account management with collaborative support.
- Account Ownership:
Serve as the primary contact for smaller accounts, managing orders, inquiries, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. - Director Support:
Provide administrative and reporting support to the Director of Sales, including preparing presentations, compiling data, and coordinating departmental initiatives. - Support for Larger Accounts:
Assist the Senior Sales Coordinator with documentation, reporting, and operational tasks for strategic accounts. - Order Management:
Process orders, monitor open orders, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment. - Customer Service:
Respond to customer inquiries, provide status updates, and elevate complex issues as needed. - Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain accurate records, including BOMs, costing requests, and spec sheets, under guidance from the Senior Sales Coordinator. - Cross‑Functional Coordination:
Communicate with internal teams (Supply Chain, Customer Service, Regulatory) to support timelines and deliverables. - Reporting:
Generate and distribute open order and OTIF reports for assigned accounts and support reporting for larger accounts. - Meeting Support:
Prepare agendas, take notes, and follow up on action items from internal and customer meetings.
- Own day‑to‑day management of smaller accounts, including order entry, tracking, and issue resolution.
- Assist in initiating costing requests and BOM creation for both small and large accounts.
- Monitor OTIF metrics for assigned accounts and flag potential delays for resolution.
- Support internal meetings with updates on smaller account status and assist with larger account reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve order‑related issues and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
The Sales Coordinator will be expected to participate in weekly Sales Channel meetings as well as cross‑functional meetings as needed.
AuthorityThis position reports to the Director of Sales for the Account Management Group.
Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position is not a managerial role and does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
ClassificationThis is a full‑time non‑exempt role.
EducationBachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in a related field or equivalent experience.
Work Experience- One to two years of related experience or equivalent.
- Experience working in a GMP environment preferred.
- 3+ years’ experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.

- Function as part of a multi‑disciplinary project team.
- Self‑starter with a willingness to expand expertise and skill base.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Your primary office location will be the Company’s Prescott, WI, location.
The Company reserves the right to reasonably require you to perform your duties at places other than your primary office location from time to time, and to require reasonable business travel.
