Material Controller​/Coordinator

Opportunity

The primary responsibilities are to facilitate purchasing for strategic projects through the Global Procurement systems, ensure the accuracy and validity of all purchasing‑related data, and maintain Purchasing’s master files. In addition, the Material Controller/Coordinator tracks purchases through the Procure to Pay process, updates tracking information, receives invoices, and accepts deliveries. The candidate will be familiar with SAP, Epro from both content and process perspectives and will participate in data reporting projects.

Onsite (4 days in Kohler).

Kohler, WI.

• Ensure the accuracy and validity of purchasing‑related data; facilitate entry and maintenance of Purchasing data through coordinated efforts across Hospitality & Real Estate Purchasing, i.e. Supplier Master File, Supplier Certification.
• Place orders as necessary of Kohler Hospitality goods, services, materials, or programs through Epro or additional purchasing systems.
• Review and take necessary actions to ensure invoices are submitted and paid timely.
• Develop procedures and build reports that facilitate automated delivery of data and information.
• Develop and maintain reports based on specifications and business needs; modify and/or enhance existing reports as needed.
• Work with Buyer’s to help manage and maintain Supplier database and reporting.
• Support Buyers through engagement in category strategies and projects.
• Perform QA functions to ensure accuracy of processes and data across all business functions to align those areas with Procurement policies and procedures.
• Act as Hospitality Purchasing Super‑user for programs and processes within Global Procurement.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement activities by improving and streamlining processes and procedures to reduce costs and time.
• Engage in purchasing self‑audit requirements.

• Two‑year Associate Degree with 3+ years of Supply Chain, Procurement, or operational experience preferred, or high school diploma with a minimum 4+ years of Supply Chain, Procurement, or operational experience preferred.
• Proven strong data analysis and reporting skills and experience with at least 2 years in a comparable role (e.g., procurement analysis, manufacturing information system analysis, financial analysis, operations analysis).
• Skilled user of MS Office products.
• Effective written, verbal communication and phone skills.

The hourly range for this position is $17.90 ‑ $26.80. The specific hourly rate offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate’s education and work location.
