International Business Developer – German‑Speaking Region

The Business Development Manager – DACH Region role at Company: M+A Matting (Part of Mountville Group) is an exciting opportunity to drive growth in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Our European operations are based in Ronse (Belgium), where a dedicated and agile team drives our international growth strategy.

Are you a driven, entrepreneurial professional ready to make your mark in a high‑potential market? We are looking for a Business Development Manager to spearhead our expansion in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).

As part of our dynamic and international sales team, you will play a pivotal role in unlocking new business, managing key accounts and driving growth in market segments such as online resellers, hygiene services, cleaning companies and industrial clients. This is a newly created role with a clear strategic focus and long‑term vision.

Your responsibilities
  • Business Development
    :
    Proactively identify and develop new sales opportunities within the DACH region, focusing on hunting and market development.
  • Account Management
    :
    Inherit and grow a small but promising client portfolio, ensuring high customer satisfaction and continuity.
  • Market Expansion
    :
    Strengthen and expand our presence across the region by building partnerships with distributors, online resellers, laundries, and more.
  • Sales Strategy Execution
    :
    Implement 30‑60‑90 day plans with clear goals on activities and market coverage (not bonus‑driven, but focused on impact and activity).
  • Collaboration & Reporting
    :
    Work closely with our Sales Director and a small, agile team of 5 people to ensure alignment and follow‑up.
Your profile
  • Based in Belgium, ideally within commuting distance of Ronse (office presence is key).
  • Native‑level German and fluent English (written and spoken).
  • Bachelor‑level thinking; a degree is not essential.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset: self‑motivated, eager to build from scratch, comfortable with cold‑calling and digital outreach.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B environments (sales, business development, account management) ideally in industrial, manufacturing or related sectors.
  • You’re hungry, humble and smart – you act with urgency, take initiative and thrive in a fast‑paced, customer‑driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% in the DACH region.
