We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Service Advisor to join our team!
Job DescriptionAs an Automotive Service Advisor, you will be the main point of contact for customers throughout the service process. You will ensure a smooth and transparent experience by accurately diagnosing vehicle issues, recommending services, and maintaining clear communication. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, has strong organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Greet customers promptly and courteously as they arrive for service.
- Listen carefully to customers2 concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.
- Provide accurate service recommendations based on vehicle diagnostics.
- Prepare and present detailed service estimates and explain repair needs in clear, non-technical language.
- Maintain regular communication with customers regarding their vehicle2 status and any changes to the initial service plan.
- Work closely with technicians to ensure services are performed accurately and on time.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve any customer service issues promptly.
- Maintain thorough and accurate service records and billing information.
- Upsell additional services when appropriate and within the customer2s best interest.
- Follow up with customers to remind them of future maintenance schedules.
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a related role is preferred, but not necessary.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-focused with a positive attitude and a professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency with automotive service management software is a plus.
- Valid driver2s license and a clean driving record.
