We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Plant Administrator to support the daily operations of our manufacturing facility in the Greater Temple, TX Area
. This role is central to ensuring smooth office administration, payroll and HR support, compliance, and employee services, while assisting multiple departments across the plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll for hourly associates accurately and on time, and assist employees with pay, benefits, and general HR-related questions.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the plant office, including checking in drivers, handling correspondence, and greeting visitors.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, ensuring completion of compliance documentation, training, and scheduling.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and support safety training to ensure a smooth start for new employees.
  • Assist the shipping department with administrative scheduling tasks and paperwork management.
  • Support accounts payable/receivable administrative processes and maintain accurate records.
  • Organize and maintain filing systems (digital and physical) for HR, payroll, compliance, and plant documentation.
  • Plan and coordinate company and plant events, including luncheons, employee recognition, and special activities.
  • Serve as a key resource for plant employees by resolving payroll, benefits, and policy-related questions in partnership with HR.
  • Collaborate with plant leadership to ensure efficient administrative operations and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of administrative experience, ideally in a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment.
  • Familiarity with payroll processing, HR practices, and employee onboarding preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS/payroll systems, and general office tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
