Senior Staff Accountant

Our client, a growing manufacturer in the Edgerton/Milton/ Janesville area is adding to their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for that staff or senior accountant looking for their next step as this provides an opportunity to supervise an accounting professional. In this role you will be involved in full-cycle accounting including month-end. A great opportunity to grow!

• Month End Close Accounting experience
• Maintaining the general ledger chart of accounts
• Reviewing general ledger accounts and preparing and adjusting journal entries
• Performing account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts
• Audit support
• Assisting with budget preparation and preparing monthly budget variance analysis
• Supervising a financial analyst

• A thorough knowledge of general accounting procedures
• The ability to effectively communicate cross functionally across the organization
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
• A minimum of 3+ years’ of experience
• Microsoft Excel, pivots & look ups
• Oracle or other ERP systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
