Wenger Construction, Inc. is a family-owned commercial roofing, siding, and architectural sheet metal company built on craftsmanship, integrity, and taking care of our people. We’re currently looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounting team.

• Process and manage accounts payable from start to finish
• Code and enter invoices accurately across multiple systems
• Reconcile accounts payable data and resolve discrepancies
• Manage employee credit card expenses and follow up on missing receipts
• Set up and maintain vendor accounts
• Assist with tax-exempt documentation for qualifying projects
• Prepare reports and dashboards to help monitor financial health
• Work closely with estimating, project coordination, and accounting teams
• Identify process improvements and support department efficiency
• Additional duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of six (6) years of Accounts Payable experience (required)
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Comfortable learning and using multiple computer systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Preferred (but not required):

• Associate's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• Construction industry accounting experience
• Quick Books experience
