Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create a welcoming environment by answering questions regarding products and offering samples.
• Maintain knowledge of products and respond to customer inquiries with suggestions.
• Inform customers of dairy specials and ensure they receive ordered products.
• Recommend dairy items to meet customer needs.
• Check product quality, review "sell by" dates, and take appropriate action.
• Label, stock, and inventory merchandise accurately.
• Report discrepancies and safety issues promptly.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperature logs.
• Practice safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or accidents.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts professionally.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
• Support customers with special needs, minors, and older adults.
• Perform essential job functions with or without accommodations.

Qualifications

• Retail experience
• Second language skills (speaking, reading, or writing)
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Effective communication skills
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
