Overview
Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital & Clinics is seeking a MAINTENANCE MECHANIC to join our PLANT OPERATIONS team. The Maintenance Mechanic performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled jobs including regular and preventative maintenance.
Hours: Full Time; 1.0 or 80 hours per pay period. Weekends as needed.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled maintenance tasks including regular and preventative maintenance.
- Knowledge of mechanical standards and practices normally acquired through a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education/experience.
- One to two years of experience in building and equipment maintenance.
- Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire. All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, online manikin and knowledge testing. Acceptable training programs include the BLS Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED.
