Field Patient Service Representative

Description

Joints In Motion Medical (JIMM) seeks a field patient service representative (PSR) to service the greater WI Rapids and surrounding area by facilitating the delivery and pick up of DME rehabilitation medical equipment. The process includes setting up and instructing on equipment use per the physician’s order and re-processing the equipment to return to distribution. Delivery most often to patient’s homes in the greater WI Rapids surrounding area.

PSRs also serve to complete, collect, and submit documentation and payment after conveying to patients their benefits details; always following proper procedures, HIPAA compliance, and all policies in an overall effort to support timely filing and collections while providing exceptional customer care in order to create Raving Fans.

Part-time that works well around another part-time gig or education commitment. Offers some benefits. Must have own reliable and insured transportation and valid driver license. Pay range of 19.00 to 23.00 an hour, based on related knowledge, skills and abilities plus mileage reimbursement.

Requirements

Education and/or experience in DME, sports medicine, kinesiology, exercise science, athletic training and/or physical therapy strongly preferred.

Prior customer service experience, preferably in the medical field.

Computer proficiency with the ability to navigate Microsoft Windows operating and file systems, including ability to operate Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word and Excel.

Ability to independently lift up to 50 lbs.
