Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our RADIOLOGY team!

Position and ScheduleThe diagnostic X-Ray/Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic examinations of the highest possible quality while limiting radiation exposure and using conventional, fluoroscopic, portable, and c-arm radiology equipment. Complies with measures to assure that patient/customer satisfaction results are consistently maintained. Appropriately supervises students according to competency level.
HOURS: 0.8 FTE / 64 hours every two weeks working day, PM, and Night shifts along with weekend and holiday rotation
Responsibilities- Perform radiographic examinations of the highest quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
- Utilize conventional, fluoroscopic, portable, and c-arm radiology equipment.
- Ensure patient/customer satisfaction through adherence to service standards.
- Supervise students according to competency level.
- Follow site protocols and safety procedures in all imaging procedures.
- Knowledge of Imaging Services standards and procedures as they relate to radiographic procedures, typically acquired through graduation from an approved radiography program, an associate degree in Radiography, ARRT certification and/or State of Wisconsin Radiographer licensure requirements.
- Previous applicable experience beneficial.

- State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer license (WI Locations only)
- Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
- Site-specific competencies in protocols, equipment, computer systems and applications.
