Production Operative

Floorspan Contracts is a specialist designer, manufacturer and installer of industrial pre-cast concrete flooring components for the Construction industry.

Due to ongoing expansion, we require Production Operatives to join our team in Wisbech.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Working as a team to produce good quality concrete beams and planks.
• To lift and carry components used in producing concrete beams and planks.
• To carry out quality checks on all beams produced including measuring the beams and planks lengths.
• To help other teams in the production yard, depending on workload.
• Daily cleaning of the work area to ensure it is ready for the following days casting.
• Previous experience as a construction labourer would be a distinct advantage
• Patient and friendly manner
• Able to work with a number of different nationalities
• Able to understand and follow instruction.
• Able to work as a Team
• Physically fit and able
• A Forklift Truck Licence would be a distinct advantage
• The salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

  41.25 or 46.25 hrs per week
