Verity Healthcare is a trusted local homecare provider dedicated to enriching the lives of our elderly clients. We are seeking empathetic and highly reliable Part-Time Female Domiciliary Healthcare Assistants to join our supportive team in the Wisbech area (PE13).
This is a domiciliary care role, meaning you will be travelling between multiple clients’ homes to provide essential, scheduled support. We cover daily visits, which often comprise short calls (30 minutes, 45 minutes, or 1 hour) throughout the day. Your commitment to reliability and punctuality is crucial for our clients’ well-being.
Your Core Role & Responsibilities
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care, including:
 
* Personal Care:
Assisting with all aspects of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
 
* Medication Management:
Assisting clients with the safe and accurate administration of prescribed medication.
 
* Nutrition:
Preparing and serving nutritious meals and drinks as required.
 
* Companionship:
Providing vital social interaction and emotional support.
 
* Household Support:
Performing light housekeeping tasks to maintain a tidy and safe environment.
 
* Record Keeping:
Maintaining accurate and detailed care records for continuity and compliance.

Essential Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess:
 
* Full UK Driving Licence and Access to Own Reliable Car:
Essential for travelling between client homes for domiciliary care calls.
 
* A genuine passion for caring for the elderly.
 
* Compassion and Empathy in all interactions.
 
* Reliability and Punctuality:
Essential for covering time-critical short calls.
 
* Excellent Communication Skills (written and verbal).
 
* Basic Literacy and Numeracy for medication and record keeping.
 
* Local Residence:
Candidates must reside within the Wisbech area to effectively cover client routes.
