Senior Authorised Person - H&S specialist

£55-68K + bonus + company car allowance

Location - Telford

We are seeking a Senior Authorised Person with a background in Health and Safety, ideally with a specific bias to Electrical Safety Management Systems to join the team in Telford. The role will require the candidate to continuously improve the awareness and standards of Health & Safety, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and ensure alignment with the relevant standards.

• To continuously improve the awareness and standards of Health & Safety with a specific bias to Electrical Safety Management Systems.
• To be the SAP up to 33kv to sign off on all authorisations across the team.
• To ensure compliance with all relevant Regulations and ensure alignment with the relevant standards across the business.
• To ensure compliance to all appropriate industry requirements and ensure alignment with the Electrical Networks Association Model Electrical Safety Rules.
• To bring a unified approach to Electrical Safety Management systems across all projects.

• Experience of operating at Senior Authiorised Person level up to 33kV.
• NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health (or an equivalent body).
• Full Member of IOSH (MIOSH/RSP - Safety Practitioner) and/or Member of International Institute of Risk & Safety Management.
• Training and Assessment certification or accreditation.
• Experience of the DNO / Model Safety Rules.

This role will be on a hybrid working bases with some travel planned to client sites across the UK and Ireland. You will require a full UK license.
