Trades ​/ Skilled Labor Technician, Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position based in Winterville, NC. The Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing maintenance on a variety of commercial trucks. Key responsibilities include conducting inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The Technician will maintain accurate service records and collaborate with team members to deliver excellent client support.

• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in commercial trucks and equipment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing complex mechanical issues.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and system diagrams.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance processes and repair scheduling.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to maintain detailed, accurate service records.
• Relevant certifications such as Disel/ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) or equivalent are a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive or diesel mechanics is preferred.
• Commitment to adhering to industry safety standards and procedures.
