Team Leader Production

Our client is a mid-size company specialising in the production of high-quality electronic components and systems for various industrial applications. Known for its innovation and commitment to quality, the company offers a dynamic work environment where initiative and continuous improvement are valued.

To strengthen their production team, we are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Team Leader Production (m / w / d) to play a key role in driving operational excellence and supporting the company’s ambitious growth.

As Team Leader Production (m / w / d) you will lead and manage a small team of skilled production operators and technicians. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient, high-quality, and on-time production of electronic components and systems, while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Job responsibilities :

• Lead, motivate, and develop a production team (approx. 15 employees) to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
• Plan and coordinate production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Monitor and improve production processes, focusing on efficiency, quality, cost reduction, and waste minimisation.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations and company standards.
• Analyse production data and KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
• Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
• Provide hands‑on support on the production floor when needed.

• Over 5 years of proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing or electronics production environment.
• Solid understanding of modern production techniques (lean manufacturing, 5S, continuous improvement, etc.).
• Good technical understanding of electronics manufacturing processes is a strong plus.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a hands‑on mentality.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in German (must) and good English.
• Education background in Electronics, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
