6:30am-12:30pm Sat at the Altamonte or Longwood PSC
The Phlebotomist II / Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as a key representative of the organization, interacting directly with patients for routine health testing or critical diagnostic needs. This role is responsible for performing high-quality blood draws, preparing specimens for laboratory analysis, and ensuring compliance with all safety and procedural standards.
The PSR II must provide exceptional patient care, maintain professionalism, and demonstrate strong leadership behaviors. This role may be assigned to a Patient Service Center, doctor’s office, or other locations based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily operational tasks accurately and on schedule under the guidance of the area supervisor.
- Create and maintain a professional, safe, and compliant work environment.
- Confidently perform both clinical and forensic specimen collections following established procedures.
- Verify patient demographics, initials, and signatures post venipuncture to ensure accurate labeling and confirmation in the patient’s presence.
- Prepare and process specimens for lab testing with precision and adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation.
- Demonstrate organizational commitment and provide exceptional customer service to patients, clients, and coworkers.
- Uphold all company policies, procedures, dress code standards, and safety guidelines.
- Travel to multiple locations as required, occasionally with minimal notice.
- Handle multiple priorities in a high volume, fast paced environment.
- Ability to provide accurate, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call shifts as needed.
- Must exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on established procedures.
- Reliable transportation required—personal vehicle only (rideshare/bus not acceptable).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, if applicable.
- Ability to travel between multiple Patient Service Center or in office phlebotomy sites.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to maintain transparency and superior customer focus.
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and navigate high-volume workflows.
- Training location may vary based on trainer availability.
- Must live within 20–25 minutes commute time to the job location.
- High school diploma or equivalent—Required
- Medical training preferred (Medical Assistant, Paramedic, etc.)
- Phlebotomy certification preferred
- Mandatory in California, Nevada, and Washington
- Minimum 3 years phlebotomy experience—Required
- Must include pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
- 2+ years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
- Customer service experience in retail or service industry preferred
- Keyboarding/data entry experience required

- Reliable, consistent attendance is required.
- Candidates must be able to arrive on time, stay for the entire shift, and maintain acceptable attendance standards.
- Excessive tardiness or absenteeism may result in termination.
- Pay rate is determined based on verified direct years of experience per the Southeast rate card guidelines.
