TSCG, a third party, privately held commercial real estate company, is hiring a Real Estate Associate in our Orlando, Florida office.
Since 1984, TSCG’s retail real estate platform has provided a full assortment of advisory services to tenants, landlords, developers, investors, and financial institutions throughout our territory. Our work on their behalf is dedicated to the validation of those descriptions. With 20 offices throughout the eastern U.S., we are the largest firm in our field in the United States.
This role is for an individual who will join a team focused on retail real estate brokerage/consulting in Florida. The individual must be willing to grow within a dynamic company with a complete focus on servicing the firm’s clients’ retail real estate needs. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, driven, and organized advisor. Experience in the commercial real estate industry is required.
A Florida real estate license is required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Develop materials for clients (e.g., available properties, rent/sale information, lease/sale comparisons, market overviews, demographic, psychographic, competition studies, traffic studies, customer profile and other relevant site selection analytics).
- Develop and grow relationships with national, regional, and local tenants, as well as tenant brokers, business, civic groups, and relevant individuals or companies in the industry
- Develop and grow relationships with developers and property owners focusing on retail related real estate
- Participate in advisory team meetings to update colleagues on client activity, market information, new business generating efforts, prospects and market knowledge and trends.
- Participate in client related travel and market/site visits.
- Maintain and update various reporting processes that are required by clients and owners.
- Perform basic to intermediate financial analyses with minimal supervision.
- Effectively utilize all internal support groups and internal databases to support business.
- Establish knowledge of the local laws governing land use, zoning, etc.
- Conduct and oversee mass marketing campaigns.
- Identification and site selection for clients.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in commercial real estate is required.
- A college degree from a four (4) year accredited university or college.
- Advanced internet research capabilities
- Strong computer orientation and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word software
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Adaptability in approaching, dealing, and communicating with a large variety of people and personalities
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Intuitive math skills with finance and business math acumen.
- Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure and effectively manage time and workload for a large (20+) group of clients.
