Seeking a forward thinking ASC Nurse Manager to join our growing, interventional pain practice in the Central Florida region. The Orlando location is a recreational haven for residents and visitors alike; with Disney World, Universal Studios, and many other theme parks, Orlando draws international tourism.
This person must have an outgoing and energetic personality and a team focus with a strong work ethic.
General Responsibilities- Plans, organizes, and directs the essential nursing and administrative functions of the Facility.
- Responsible for management of all aspects of environment of care.
- Coordinates and directs patient care according to regulations and the accepted accreditation standards and works with the Medical Staff to coordinate the functions of patient care services.
- Coordinates activities to accomplish the goals of the Quality Management Program.
- Performs the duties of an Operating Room Nurse or Preoperative /Postoperative Registered Nurse.
- Reports to the Center Director and supervises all patient care staff, directly or indirectly.
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required;
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
Experience: Health care management experience required a minimum of 3 years, particularly in an ambulatory surgical center setting. Perioperative nursing experience required. Operating Room experience preferred.
Licensure, Registry
Required:
Current State licensure required.
Special Training: Must be able to utilize computers and various software programs such as:
Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Athena.
Other: Pre-employment background investigation is required.
