The Role You’ll ContributeThe ANM is a registered professional nurse who supports the Nurse Manager or Director in overall operations of their assigned unit. The ANM demonstrates critical thinking skills, creativity, and the knowledge to manage resources to achieve quality performance, positive employee relations, and compliance with hospital guidelines. The ANM coaches, mentors, and leads a professional and technical team in the delivery of services to our patient population.
The ANM assures quality of care is delivered to our patients and demonstrates effective stewardship of scarce resources. The ANM supports change activities on their unit and works to assure implementation of change that may occur. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and maintains relationships that are respectful to all.
- Perform venous access procedures within the scope of RN licensure, ensuring proper technique and patient safety.
- Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments, adjusting care plans based on patient responses and needs.
- Assess patients' conditions to determine appropriate venous access methods and address any complications.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access and infusion therapy.
- Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy to ensure understanding and compliance.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Associate's of Nursing (Required), Bachelor's of Nursing. Acute/Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) - RQI, AVADE (AVADE) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI, Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN), Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR), Certified RN Infusion (CRNI), Chemotherapy Certificate (CHEMO), Electronic Fetal Monitoring (CEFM), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Medical Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (MEDSURG-BC), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP and NRP-A), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Non Violent Crisis Intervention Program, Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS), Registered Nurse (RN), Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR), Trauma Nurse Course Certified (TNCC).
