Job Summary
This position focuses on customer satisfaction; provides technical support directly to customers via phone or field service and provides training to customers, employees, and service technicians.
Responsibilities- Pre‑delivery and post‑delivery problem solving.
- Enter claims in SAP.
- Research and order parts.
- Travel on‑site for field service repairs.
- Provide technical training to customers on all brands.
- Provide backup support to peers as needed.
- Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
- Familiar with all aspects (installation/repair/replacement) of all products offered by REV Orlando.
- Familiar with vendor components such as electrical systems, HVAC systems, and suspension.
- Familiar with OEM chassis and conversion ties into our modular units.
- Typing speed of 45 WPM.
- Some familiarity with Microsoft and SAP systems.
- Travel up to 80 % of the time without notice.
- Understand and carry out verbal and written directions.
- Work independently in the absence of supervision.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
- Team player.
- Communicate effectively in English.
- Interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
- Familiar with electrical theory and troubleshooting techniques.
- Guide a field technician through troubleshooting of system failures via telephone.
- Phone, e‑mail, and internet browsing skills required.
- Read, write, and perform mathematical computations at a level required for job performance.
- Share knowledge gained from the field with internal departments.
- Time‑management and multitasking skills.
- Drive heavy and light‑duty ambulances.
- Work in a courteous and professional manner with the public and employees.
- Read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
- Multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Follow the policy and procedures set forth by the Customer Relations Manager and/or REVO.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2 years call center or customer service experience.
- 2 years electrical/manufacturing experience.
- Passport.
- Travel and field service work up to 80 % of time.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, and reach.
- Frequently walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
- Vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and squat.
- Occasionally lift up to but not exceed 40 lbs.
- Work with arms above head.
- Read and follow written and verbal instructions.
Indoor office, various locations in the field.
Personal Protective Equipment Recommended and/or Required- Safety glasses.
- Earplugs.
- Closed‑toed shoes.
