The Human Resource Generalist partners with managers and staff to communicate human resources policies, procedures and programs for DSI, Interim, ECCI and other DSI companies as requested. The HR Generalist will work in all aspects of the Human Resources department including assisting the VP of HR with projects.
Provides coaching and consultation to supervisors and managers when employee issues arise. Supports the progressive discipline process and escalates matters appropriately to VP of Human Resources. Investigates complaints, grievances and Corporate Compliance calls promptly and thoroughly.
Assist in processing background checks and updating AHCA rosters for all companies.
Ensure timely filing of unemployment claims. Coordinate manager attendance to unemployment hearings.
Required QualificationThree (3) years to five (5) years experience in HR.
Preferred Qualifications- HR or Business Administration with HR concentration preferred.
- Background in Healthcare in the State of Florida.
- PHR/ SPHR or SHRM - CP/SCP preferred.
