Shift: Wednesday-Saturday 7-6 (40 hours/week)

• Observes patient response and encourages socialization.
• Provides patients with information regarding resources and therapeutic recreational/leisure activities in the community.
• Develops, plans, and provides individual and group recreational therapy sessions, evaluates the effectiveness of the plan of care, updating as indicated.
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Documents patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and timely.

• Entry level professional competency of Recreational Therapy practice, theory, principles, and applications. Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must be able to read, write, and speak conversational English

• Bachelor's [Required]

• in Therapeutic Recreation

• 2+ years experience [Preferred]

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) [Required]
• Non Violent Crisis Intervention Program [Preferred]
