Job Responsibilities
As a Multi-Modality Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services across two or more modalities, including CT and X-ray. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures with precision, autonomy, and professionalism.
- Operating CT, X-ray, and other imaging equipment safely and effectively, following proper protocols.
- Ensuring exams are properly documented and submitted for interpretation.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including exam rooms and equipment.
- Demonstrating flexibility, empathy, and clear communication in patient interactions.
- Monitoring and restocking supplies; coordinating with staff to ensure readiness for exams.
- Staying up to date with new imaging techniques and participating in ongoing professional development.
- Assisting with imaging-related administrative tasks such as authorizations or accreditation processes when needed.
- Supporting the team and management with scheduling, reporting equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and safety standards.
Minimum Qualifications
Education & Credentials:
- Associate's degree or higher from an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Active ARRT(R)(CT) certification required.
- Valid Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist license.
- Current BLS certification.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient diagnostic facility or hospital setting.
- Strong working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic protocols.
Skills & Attributes:
- Proficient in the use of CT, X-ray, and DEXA imaging equipment.
- Strong organizational and critical-thinking skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Compassionate and patient-focused.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
Compensation & Benefits
- Schedule: Full-time position, Monday-Friday with every other weekend coverage required (schedule provided in advance), plus occasional flexibility as needed.
