Responsibilities- Plan, administer, and coordinate the Graduate Medical Education Program(s) and medical education programs in Radiology; coordinate preparation, completion and submission of all required reporting to the ACGME, A , AAMC, institutional GME, and any other regulatory body (including the ACGME annual update, annual faculty and resident surveys, annual program evaluation, case and procedure logs, milestone reporting, GME track surveys, and A registration).
- Manage Resident/Fellow Affairs including Workday/HR oversight; coordinate medical student programs including orientation, scheduling of lectures, and evaluation; manage department shadowing experiences.
- Work closely with program leadership to develop and implement educational goals and methods for radiologic training; develop, establish, and interpret program policies and procedures; perform annual review of program curricula; recommend curricula updates and new or revised educational materials.
- With the Chief Residents, manage the yearly block schedule and weekly rotation assignments; oversee resident performance and faculty teaching evaluation activities; manage the resident evaluation process; communicate and monitor trainee compliance activities.
- Coordinate special events including educational and training didactics, lectures, and conferences; coordinate in-training and board certification exams; coordinate GME site visits; complete trainee verifications.
- Provide administrative support to the Program Director and Associate Program Director; participate in planning and development of annual operating budgets; review, authorize, and monitor procurement and other fiscal expenditures.
- Serve as liaison and attend departmental, institutional, and national meetings; serve as the primary contact for prospective residents; plan and administer residency recruitment, including communications, agenda creation, and evaluation of candidates.
- Manage credentialing and onboarding for incoming trainees; work with education staff to plan orientation programming; coordinate offboarding and graduation activities.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in a relevant field may be desirable.
- 4 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
