Large Distribution Warehouse in Sanford is looking for an Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeper.
Pay: $20-24/hr
Hours:
M-F 8am-5pm
- Accounts Payable/Receivables
- General Ledger - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Be familiar with all Taxes
- Collections, identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments. Collects revenue by reminding delinquent accounts, notifying customers of insufficient payments
- Spreadsheets - Monthly accounting reports
- Invoicing to and from vendors/suppliers
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting. - Proven experience as an accounts payable clerk or in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
