Under general direction from the Clubhouse Manager, the Facility Maintenance Technician safely utilizes a variety of tools, machinery, and equipment to perform maintenance duties around the Clubhouse and grounds. Responsibilities also include cleaning equipment after each use and performing minor repairs and/or routine maintenance on the equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Conduct daily facility inspections and promptly address issues.
- Complete work orders and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Maintain club equipment, tools, and inventory.
- Assist with event setup, furniture movement, and minor carpentry or paint projects.
- Troubleshoot maintenance problems and recommend solutions.
- Partner with vendors, contractors, and staff as needed.
- Ensure all safety policies, codes, and procedures are followed.
- Support emergency response – Power outages, leaks, storms, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
- High school diploma or college degree (required or preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in facility maintenance, building operations, or a skilled trade.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces.
- Ability to read work orders, basic schematics/as-builts, and manuals.
- Experience with hand and power tools.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems; handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required, including nights/weekends.
- Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
Physical Requirements
- Read and write English.
- Communicate verbally with staff members and/or customers with or without the use of two-way radios.
- Give and/or follow verbal and written instructions.
- Perform mathematical calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.
- Retrieve, read, and interpret information from technical sources.
- Stand, sit, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend and kneel for up to 5 hours at a time.
- Lift up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs constantly.

Working ConditionsWork hours may include days and evenings on weekdays and weekends. Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions. May be exposed to inclement weather, misdirected golf balls, sharp and rapid equipment movement on a daily basis. Injury may result as a result of exposure to the above if safety policies and practices are not properly followed.
