POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Call Center Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for scheduling Medical, Dental, and/or Optometry appointments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education:

    High School Graduate or GED
  • Experience:

    18 months scheduling appointments in an office environment or Call Center experience. Bilingual:
    English/Spanish required.
  • Skills:

    Self-starter, detail-oriented, computer literate, typing 40 wpm.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:
  • Schedule medical, dental, and optometry appointments by phone.
  • Collect patient demographic and insurance information.
  • Cancel and reschedule appointments.
  • Understand and apply CFHC scheduling template.
  • Transfer calls appropriately.
  • Work provider follow-up requests on outbound calls.
  • Must be available from 7 am until 6 pm.
