Senior Retail Pharmacist (VSP/PT)

The Senior Retail Pharmacist (VSP/PT) compounds and dispenses medications and other pharmaceuticals. The role involves moderately complex to complex issues, requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The pharmacist prepares and maintains all necessary records on prescriptions, patient charges, and inventory, provides information to patients on drugs and pharmaceuticals, directly interacts with patients, influences department strategy, makes decisions on moderately complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and works without direction with considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches.

• Compound and dispense medications and other pharmaceuticals.
• Analyze and evaluate complex situations or data with variable factors.
• Prepare and maintain records of prescriptions, patient charges, and inventory.
• Provide patient education on drugs and pharmaceuticals.
• Interact directly with patients.
• Influence departmental strategy and make decisions on moderately complex issues.
• Determine objectives and approaches to assignments with considerable latitude.

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5 or more years of technical experience.
• Active license with the Board of Pharmacy in the appropriate state.
• Immunization Certification and ability to administer immunizations in Florida.
• Patient‑facing role as part of Humana/Senior Bridge's TB screening program; TB screening required.
• Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

$115,200 – $158,400 per year.
