Description: This is professional work assigned to our Office of Economic Self‑Sufficiency Program. Responsibilities include collecting, compiling and analyzing program data, assessment of training needs, training program activities, and analysis of complex policy and case management problems. This position also provides assistance in the administration of monitoring and technical assistance activities developed to assure program consistency and uniformity at the service area level.

Location: The position is available in the Southeast Region (Fort Lauderdale & Riviera Beach). Positions will be housed within the Region based on physical location of selected candidates. Applicants interested in working in areas outside of the Southeast Region will need to apply for positions advertised for those specific areas on the People First System.

Salary: $42,561.57 - Internal salary appointments are determined according to DCF Salary policy.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and four years of professional experience in health, social, economic or rehabilitative programs
  • A Master’s degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for one year of the required experience
  • Professional or nonprofessional experience as requires above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Monitors data and performs analysis to resolve problems arising in program eligibility, service delivery and/or policy implementation;
  • Plans, organizes, and conducts pre-service, in-service and policy update training for staff and insures employees have the basic knowledge required to administer a variety of programs;
  • Designs supplemental training programs to meet specialized in-service training needs, including appropriate curricula and supportive material;
  • Utilizes and develops supplemental material for core training packages from the Office of Economic Self‑Sufficiency Central Program Office by analyzing, evaluating, and understanding the skills, attitudes, background, abilities of the available program personnel and then selecting the most appropriate training delivery system;
  • Assist with Quality Management and Assurance Plan monitoring for the Southeast Region;
  • Assist with other operational, program and performance monitoring as required to ensure that standards and polices are compiled with;
  • Agency liaison to other community agencies/partners and serves as spokesperson on program policy within the community as needed;
  • Provides program and policy guidance and consultation to Southeast Region staff;
  • Provides consultation, technical assistance, on-site visits, assistance in problem resolution and follow‑up evaluation and training, etc., to Office of Economic Self‑Sufficiency program supervisors and specialists;
  • Tracks and analyzes performance data and compiles statistical reports for the Southeast Region and provides same to Circuit Operations for evaluation and program compliance;
  • Coordinating assignments, activities, and projects between State Office and Southeast Region Operations, including working closely with other Program Offices and Southeast Region Operations to facilitate service delivery across program lines;
  • Assists in developing corrective action plans as requested;
  • Provides recommendations based on monitoring results;
  • Compiles, collects and analyzes data;
  • Performs other related duties as assigned;
